Asa Musselwhite, Berrien Co. GA
Looking for anything on Asa Musselwhite (b. abt. 1809 GA / d. abt 1890 Berrien Co. GA) wife Penelope b.1818. I find them in the 1850 Lowdens Co. GA census, and the 1860 Berrien Co. GA census. Asa might have been married to a Martha (BROWN?) before Penelope or possible Penelope was a BROWN. Children were;
1) Patience or Patricia (b.1833)prob. Martha's daughter

3) Joseph(d. infant)

James, Uriah, and Christain, married 2 sisters and a brother (surname spelled FOOSES / FUSE / FAUST) in Hamilton Co. FL. They were in Hamilton Co. FL, as early as 1870 according to land records. James R. and Christain's husband Moses FOOSE, were CSA veterens and recieved pensions. As far as we know Asa is buried at Alapha, Berrien Co. GA. but I have not located his grave. Does anyone have other information on this family, or think they may be tied to your MUSSELWHITES? Thank you, Lynda
