About 1790 Christian Musser (son of Jacob) moved to WashingtonCounty, PA. Around 1800 most of the family moved to Ohio where he died in 1840.
His widow Catherine moved back to Allegheny Co. PA and lived with her unmarried daughter. They are both buried in Robinson Run Cemetery near McDonald PA. Their daughter Catherine married into the Shane Family and lived nearby.
The Christan Musser has Revolutionary records under Messer. Their are deeds in Ohio with the name spelled Messer and Musser on the same deed.
You must remember that there were two Christian Musser born in 1861. One the son of Jacob and the other the son of Christian. They were first cousins.
