Looking for information on the Joseph Musser of Brookfield, Trumbull, OH. Married to Elizabeth Patton, daughter of Thomas Patton and Nancy Quiggle.

In 1826, shows in Tax Records in Brookfield.
Have NOT found them in 1830, but suspect Mercer PA since all children are to have been born there.
1840 Census shows them living in Lackawannock, Mercer PA with 5 daughters. Have identified three of them as:

Matilda Musser (b. 1832)
Diana Musser (b. 1833)
Amanda Musser (b. 1837)

The two oldest remain unknown.

One son, David Musser, was born in 1841.

By 1850, Joseph Musser is dead and Elizabeth has remarried Joseph Snow Honey. living in Brookfield. Matilda is by this time married to Stanley Hill in Brookfield. Amanda, Diana and David remain at home.

A biography of one John Musser of Medina Co., OH, son of David and Mary Ann "Polly" Reed Musser claims that John was born in Trumbull in 1814. Claims parents moved there from PA in 1813. Joseph Musser is reported to have been born in PA.

Wonder if this is the family I am looking for? Joseph's son David suggests that they may indeed be related to David and Polly Musser.

Any information on this family would be most appreciated.
