MUZZAL of NC 1750-1850

Jane MUZZALL. Here's a name that shouldn't be hard
to trace, but it is.
On 20 Oct 1789, Jane married Thomas MALONE in
Orange Co. They are my g+grandparents through
their son James Blackwell MALONE who married
Sarah MURRAY.
Jane was possibly, just possibly, the daughter of
Joseph MUZZALL, and another researcher thinks
he may have been the Joseph who was transported
to VA as a felon, aboard the 'Lichfield', at age 14. We
have not made a proved connection.
Jane's probable siblings from Orange Co records:
William D who was Sheriff of Caswell Co in the 1780s
married Mary 'Polly' MALONE; Frances married Absolam
LEA; Elizabeth married Hasting BARTLETT.
A posting on the MUZZALL GenForum about 10 years ago
has generated only one, no-help, response. I don't hold
out much hope.
