Rick,
According to all the records that I have seen over about 40 years of research, Richard Mynatt was born 10-21-1729 in England the son of Richard Mynatt a sailor. He migrated to Va. in 1750 to an indenture to the colony of Va for a four year period. He was employed in the Lee home as a cook. After serving his time he married and received 400 acres of land. Later moved to western part of Va. and on to Tn. in late 1700's. I have a lot of family information and will share it with any cousin.Vern.
