I am seeking information about destinations and settlement of any of 10-20 immigrants from Wurtemberg, Germany (specifically from the village of Altheim between 1847 amd 1900.) The Wurtemberg emigration index lists 12, not including my grandfather Joseph Nafz who settled in Springfield, Ohio about 1880. I amy trying to figure out why he chose Ohio to settle.
