As a descendant of "Old Arthur & Sarah Nabors" of Shelby Co. Ala. & Winston Co. Miss. as well as S.C., I feel the need to address the matter of Sarah's unknown maiden name, before it leads, two lines, Shepard & Nabors, down the wrong garden path. There is "no proof-none-nothing-zip-zero" that says or proves, Sarah wife of Arthur Nabors is the daughter of one Robert S.& Precious "Presha" Posey Shepard. Absolutely Nothing!!!!!
Robert's dau--Sarah b 1788 Ga. or S.C. mar a Nabors--who-what-where or when is this Nabors? No data. The Shepard family lived in S.C. Ga.& Jefferson Co. Ala.
Arthur's wife--Sarah b 1788 Va. They lived in S.C. Ala. & Miss. where they both died. They had a large family with the first 7 childern b S.C. & the next 6 in Ala.
Would like to hear from fellow researchers of this line regarding Sarah's maiden name.
