It's rumored John W. Nabors shot and killed a man in Alabama and then he ran to Oklahoma to avoid the law. Do know that he married and had three daughters. Aude, Stella and MABEL NABORS GANNON. Mabel married a Walter Woodward Gannon and they had a son. I was told this son was named after both of his Grandfathers. (John) W. Nabors and James (Beecham) Gannon. (John Beecham Gannon). If someone could tell me what part of Alabama John W. came from I would appreciate it. He was born in 1853 and by the 1900 census he was 46 years old and living in Choctaw Nation, TWP 8 S. range 11 east.of Oklahoma.
