Abraham Nabors b ca 1783-1784 "NOT" 1790-1792--died ca 1848 Perry Co, Ala.--mar Nancy Crockett Crawford--they had a large family. Sarah H. Nabors b ca 3/11/1810 Ala. is one of their daus. she mar John H. Harless he b ca 1808 Ala. Both Abraham Nabors & John H. Harless Methodist Ministers.
The parents of this Abraham Nabors are Jacob & Judith Nabors, just as Benny Gordon said. Benny was also correct when he said, there has never been a Francis Jacob Nabors, to this I will also add, there has never been a Jacob Francis Nabors mar Sally Wheat or a Jacob Nabors mar Sally Wheat connected to this line. There is a Francis Nabors mar Sally Wheat & they belong to a different line.
Jacob & Judith Nabors of Laurens Co. S.C.--Prince Edwards Co. Va. & Greenville Co. S.C. parents of Abraham had the following family & I included Abraham in the list.
Judith b ca 1777--William b ca 1780--John b ca 1782-- Abraham b ca 1783-1784--Arthur b ca 1785--(my GG grandfather)--Jacob b ca 1788.
The originators of this Nabors line is thought to be "old Abraham Nabors/Neighbors b ca 1684 & "old Rebecca b ca 1693.
Oh yes, much conflict in this line, it is a struggle to try to keep the integrity of this line intact.
