This is just a follow-up on Jacob Nabors & wife Judith of Prince Edward Co. Va.

Jacob & Judith go from Prince Edward Co. Va. to Greenville Co. S.C.in 1797, where dau. Judith is to mar Henry Hill, 1797-1798. They are on the 1800 Greenville Co. census.

Dau . Judith is 20 yrs. old in 1797
William is 17
John is 15
Abraham is 13
Arthur is 12
Jacob is 9 {All approx. yrs.}

Jacob Nabors on the Greenville Co. S.C. 1800 census.
1 male 45 yrs. & up=Jacob
1female 45 yrs. & up =wife Judith
1 male 10 under 16=son Jacob
2 males 16 under 26=sons Abraham & Arthur
Son William is 20 yrs. old & gone from the home, no data on him.
Son John is 18 yrs. old & gone from the home, no data on him.

Wife Judith dies between 1800 & 1817, no data.

1817 Jacob Nabors dies in Greenville Co. S.C. His heirs are listed on a dower release for selling of land, it is not a will. Son William is listed but not there, dau. Judith is not there but husband Henry Hill is there for her, I think she just had a child or was expecting.

If Jacob had remarried & had childern by 2nd wife, they would have had to be mention in the dower release. Personally I just do not beleive Jacob's marriages to the Sally's & Sally Wheat persons, doesn't make sense.

Hopefully this Nabors line can get back on the right tracks once again, it has really been thru the mill, so to speak.

I do not know the parents of Jacob or Judith. I beleive this Jacob to have been born from the middle 1750's to the late 1750's.
