A friend of mine has a photo album that has many pictures with nothing written on the back. Even her father (born 1915) could not identify them. In this group of photos are three obituaries, for lack of a better name. These "obits" are 5" x 7," and printed on the same material as old photos...that sixteenth inch thick cardboard/pasteboard. The face of the paper is gloss black and the printing is in gold. They are quite striking in appearance. However, the obits have almost no detail on them. There is the name of the deceased and the date of his death, but little more. Not even the town/state of the burial! The men are Stephan Lingo, who died 11/22/1890, age 25y, 2m, 25d and Charles Lingo, who died 5/6/1895. The third is Emanuel Nace, who died July 25, 1894, age 79 years. There is no other data. Susan would like to know who this Emanuel Nace is. She knows that she is a Lingo descendant but does not know if Emanuel is a relative or merely a friend of the family. Any information would be appreciated. I don't know if this will be any help (or be misleading) but many photographs in the album were taken in Barnesville, Ohio, which is about fifty miles west of Wheeling West Virginia. Send me an e-mail if you can add anything to solve this mystery. djohnson@bmtc.net Thanks, dj
