Peter/Catherine Nace in MD

I'm searching for a Catherine Nace who marrried John Shade on June 1, 1808 in Baltimore Co., MD. The record seems to be associated with the First Methodist Episcopal Church. Catherine is the daughter of Peter and Tillatha Nace. Peter died, or wrote his will I'm not sure, on Nov 13, 1827 in Baltimore Co.

However, the "Abstract of Wills of Baltimore Co MD No 14" page 107 has transcribed his name to be Peter Nance, not Nace. I can find virtually all of Peter's other children in the censuses of that time under the name of Nace. I'm relatively sure that Nace is the correct spelling.

Can anyone help clarify this and/or provide any additional details on this Nace family?
