Dear Patrick,
I have a bit of information on the Nace family of Maryland.
There is a Peter Nace, but I don't know who he married.
He lived around 1750's. His land was called Everything Needful. It was adjacient to land owned by George Nace Sr. who died in 1808. George's land was called "Nace's Tavern". George fought in the REv war on the penn line and was recorded in count pulanski's regiment for one. rec'd a land grant in 17 something for 100 acres in Maryland. I have all offical docs at home.
I have been unable to prove Peter was his brother, but I don't think he was a son. I have all of George's sons recorded and it is intersting to see that one son John Nace who eventually married and moved to Botetourt co.VA named one of his sons Peter. Another interesting thing is names in families used to be carried from one generation to the next and the farthest back I have been able to take Nace is to a Pierre Nace who arrived in 1700 on the Mary and Ann with a wife and two daughters. He was settled in Jamestown, but whether he remained there is yet to be discovered and whether he had a son.
If you feel there could be a connection between this Peter and yours , please feel free to contact me at patnace@rogers.com.

Best regards,
Pat
