DEAR REVD DENNIS L NADIN
My grandmother's maiden name was Freda Agnes Nadin, daughter to Arthur Ernest Nadin & Rose Bridget O'Toole. Arthur Ernest Nadin was born in Australia (Kyogle NSW 27/3/1863) his parents were John Nadin born Manchester England 1832 & Mary Ann Youde.They married on 25th Dec 1850 at Manchester Cathedral. John Nadin later married Isabella Darragh in 1873, after his first wife's death in Australia(Candelo NSW).
John's parents were John Nadin & Elizabeth Holgate (Manchester England)
We are led to believe that John's grandfather was Joseph Nadin, Deputy Constable of Manchester.
If you have any information regarding my grandmothers ancestry please let me know, as I am 32 yrs old from Newcastle, NSW Australia & very interested in gaining knowledge as my grandmother died when my father was only 13yrs old. So information is scarce. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
