I am descended from Thomas Naden and Elizabeth Farry from the Sunderland districts of Bishopwearmouth/Monkwearmouth,
Thomas was a blacksmith/chainmaker as were several of his desendants on my line and at least one other of his sons who was called Thomas Farry Naden(some of his descendents I have found out have emigrated to Australia) I am descended from his brother William who married Mary Banks in 1849, their daughter Ann was my GG gran who married Joseph Bewick, she died at the age of 26 in 1876 of a post partal haemmhorage, her son james married my gt gran Jane Ann Kellett of Hetton-le-hole, Co Durham and my nana Ruth Kirk nee Bewick was their daughter, she died 3 years ago aged 96
