Were Andrew Jackson Rains 18 Nov. 1859 - 26 July 1937 and his wife Lora Alice (Nading) Rains 13 Sept. 1861 - 8 Jan. 1949 the parents of William H. Rains 30 Jan. 1890 - 13 Jan. 1967 whom they are buried near in Denning Cemetery near Bear Creek Springs in Boone County, Arkansas? I found one on-line source which gave the names of Lora Alice's parents as Charles Leander Nading and Catherine Clodfelter. If that's correct, Lora would be a member of this family.
William H. & Susan Matilda (Beneger) Rains were the parents of William Lester Rains 30 Nov. 1917 - 23 June 1988. Lester's wife, Dorothy Davis, was my mother's first cousin. After Lester's death, Dorothy married his first cousin, Henry Clifton Rains. I assume he also is a grandchild of Andrew Jackson & Lora Alice (Nading) Rains, if they are indeed parents of William H. Rains.
