Sorry to get back to your response so late, and YES, the
name and the war do seem to match, but I feel that you Frank
Nadler is not my Frank Nadler. My Frank Nadler was Bmbdr:
1st/Lt. Frank E. Nadler, he was killed in action, his plane
crased at 9:25, 600m. east of Benndorf, 5 KM's northwest of
Eisleban, Germany. His plane was the 564th Bomber Squadron, 389th Bomber Group. Frank E. Nadler intered the service
from Oklahoma and died on July 7, 1944. He is buried at
Plot D. Row 32 Grave 36 Lorraine American Cemetery. Frank's
father was also named Frank Nadler, mother's name was Myrtle
Nadler both parents died in Jasper Missouri.
I do have more information on the Nadler family that came
to the US in the early 1850's from Austria if you are interested.
