Lisa - this is good information. My grandmother on my mother's side was Theophile L. Nadolni she married Julius Wolschon in Detroit Michigan May 1889. Theophile's family came from German/Poland? and they also lived in Detroit, her father was John Nadolni and her mother was Rosalia/Mary Borovich they both died in Detroit 1905/1918. They had 7 children, Joe, Mary, Lena, Theophile, Frances, Josephine, Cashmuer (Frank)...my questions is were they Polish or German? I don't know when they came over to the US or why and if any other family came with them. I do know that Theophile was not born in the US and that she spoke German and the Julius was German from Danzig Germany. Any info about the name etc. would be appreciated.
