I have been interested in our "Naggi" name for a very long time. In 1995 I began seriously to research. I have found out much. Some of this you may know from your father or grandfather. The Naggi family is located near the city of Milan in Italy. There are about 100 Naggi families listed in all of Italy. Almost all of them are located in Milan and in nearby towns. My branch of the family came from the town of Cuggiono, 30 miles west of Milan. My grandfather, Carlo Naggi, came to the USA in 1913. Through much work I was able to locate Naggi still in Cuggiono. Several years ago I visited Italy for the first time. There I met my Naggi second-cousins. Wonderful families and a fantastic visit. Through my research I also learned of a Naggi in Argentina. His name is Carlos Luis Naggi of La Plata. He also became interested in genealogy and did much writing to Italy for information. I believe, Roman, that Carlos may your father's brother. He sent me a chart that showed himself to be the brother of "Horacio Oscar Naggi". Perhaps, in translating Spanish to English, the names "Horacio" and "Oscar" are in a different places. Carlos is the son of Osvaldo Naggi and Yolandina Roletto. His grandparents are Carlo Naggi and Maria Josefa Carabelli. Carlos also lists "Osvaldo E. Naggi" as his brother. This branch of Naggi came from a town very close to Cuggiono. The name of the town is Buscate. Carlos has given me much information about his Naggi family tree. He can trace his family tree all the way back to "Batta Naggi" of Buscate, born about the year 1625. I will be happy to share all the information I have with you. Jim Naggi
