Unable to trace an Admiral or other commissioned officer with name of Leeming, but did find: LAYMAN, Commander William (1768 - 1826); LEMOYNE, Lieutenant John Thomas (1777 - 1827), both from the complete navy list of the Napoleonic Wars [1973-1815] at http://www.ageofnelson.org/NavyList/index.html ] and Mr Liming, Boatswain - KIA 1808 - on the Stately from the site below.

While your pondering how to proceed further with prisoner records I’m sure you’ll find much to interest you at http://www.pbenyon.plus.com/Naval.html . In particular I suggest you check out - Naval History during the Napoleonic Wars and afterwards (1793-1837) > RN vessels lost during the 19th century > British Ships Lost and also Index of 4,800+ names etc., > Index then “drop in a section or work through the whole lot – the volumes make fascinating reading – enjoy.
