Kath,

The British Army was heavily and constantly engaged in the Iberian Peninsula from 1808 through to 1814 (by 1814 Wellington led his army across the Pyranees and into southern France.

Michael is quite right that the fighting in Portugal was largely concluded by 1811 but heavy fighting continued through Spain.

The British Army also mounted some expeditions elsewhere but the Peninsula was its primary focus until Napoleons first abdication in 1814.
