The very same.
As far as I can tell, only one of Chester's brothers remained in New York state. That was Horace Naramor, who was a manufacturer of grain cradles in Batavia, NY.He apparently never married, and the last record I have of him is in 1868.
In 1831, Chester's younger brother Nathaniel left Caledonia, NY for Shelby, Michigan.Chester's mother Mary (Molly) apparently went with them, and died there in 1840.Utica, MI cemetery records also show a Jeremiah Naramor, 1796-1836, who I believe was another brother of Chester.
Apparently Chester also headed to Michigan at about the same time as the rest of his family, but rather than remaining there with the rest of them, he struck out for Illinois in 1839.He seems to have hung on to some land in NY state, however, since the Monroe Co. NY deed books record land transactions involving Elisha G. Naramor in 1850 and 1856.
By the way, thanks for the War of 1812 records for Chester.I knew that his cousin Joel had served (and died) in that conflict, but was unaware of Chester's service.
