Hello Jennifer (and Brent, who responded earlier). I have researched this family, as some are confusing the Samuel Walker and son John W. Walker, with the John N. Walker, son of Joseph and Ibbie/Ibba (Evans) Walker (of Rhea Co., TN, and Monroe/Barren Co.'s KY) -- to discount any relationship between the two Walker families. It is obvious that this Samuel Walker (married Virenda Elizabeth Hurt) is not related to my Walkers (descendants of John Walker b. 1793 NC and Ruie Guffey b. ca. 1802 NC).
