James, Your Frederick family`s land on Rocky River is clearly shown on George Thomas website,We all owe George for his Tremendous Job of platting these old Grants and Deeds. There are other familys that you need to mark. The Morning Hobson family is in this area , and the family of David Burleson also. Hezekiah grew up with Ezilla Hobson daugther of Morning. By 1806 the three familys Frederick, Hobson and Burleson moved to Rutherford County Tennessee where on May 17 1809 Hezekiah and Ezilla were married and had 7 of their 10 children before moving to Ala. Their son Joshua would marry the daugther of Davids Burleson son Hilkiah. Three of the Hobson daugthers would marry Burleson in Rutherford Co, TN. These three familys, now related by blood and they seem to mirgrate together into Alabama then to Texas. Hezekiah was commisioned a Ensign in the 22nd regt. TN. on 22 August 1811.
I hope this will give you a time table and other places to search.
Good luck Cousin, John H. Burleson ,Rocky River
