Judy,

I have an acquaintance looking for a copy of the will of Julia Ann Hammond in Beaufort Co, 1883. According to Mitchell's index, the original will is in Beaufort, not at the archives in Raleigh. I emailed the clerk of court and received a message from a Kaye Pinckney that court has no file in the name of this decedent."
Do you know how or where to obtain a copy of the will?
