Israel Voss in Norfolk County,VA. On p. 216 note that Ralph Jackson granted land in Surry County, VA for 2 headrights: Israel Voss and Henry Woodruff. There were Voss, Vose etc. in that part of NE Virginia near the border with SE Virginia in the 1600s. For example, William Vose son of Morgan m. Martha Chaston daughter of Roger 3 Apr 1669. I have quite a bit more on this early family. It’s possible Israel could be related to this line, but I have no data to suggest that. Notify Administrator about this message?
