I am seeking information on Penelope HARRISON d/o Susan HARRISON and William BRYAN. Susan HARRISON md. William BRYAN in 1768 in Craven Co., NC. I believe that Susan was the d/o William HARRISON and Elizabeth SIMMONS b. abt 1745.
In 1850, Penelope was md. to Joseph Green and living in Brunswick Co., NC. My reference for Joseph Green's wife being Penelope BRYAN d/o Susan HARRISON and Williams BRYAN came from Jean Mayo Hirsch, World Connect Project, The Family of Joseph Alston and Caroline Green Hatcher; jhirsch4890@sbcgobal.net (12/2006)
Penelope was listed as Penelope B. WILLIAMS GREEN in the 1850 Brunswick Co. NC Census. In the 1860 NC Census only initials were used for her name : PHBW. Green (PHB possibly Penelope Harrison Bryan after both parents)
Was Penelope md. to a Williams before she md. Joseph Green?
If so, what Williams?
