Looking for information about Thomas S. Evans, I think he lived in Black Rock,Brunswick County NC. Among other things I believe he was the post office official in Black Rock. Does anyone have any census records regarding him and his family members from the 1850, 1860 or 1870 Federal Census'? Does anyone know what became of Black Rock as it was on some maps in the 1850's and 1860's, but then it just seems to have dissappeared?
