Seeking information on Elias SMITH who went to Brunswick Co., NC from New York in early manhood. He died in 1823 in Brunswick Co., NC He was md. to Ann BAKER b. bef. 1775, Had one known son, Isaac Baker Smith b. 1806 whose son,a Capt SMITH; md. (1) in 1857, Abbe C. Smith d/o of John Smith of Middletown, Conn; d. 1867 They had 4 children. One was Abbe (md. Cam. Gales; (2) in 1870 Capt. Smith md. Josephine Macon of Richmond, VA. They had 5 children: Three are known: Josephine, Roberta, and Williams M. C. SMITH.
