My grandfather James Washington Warren was born in Buncombe County, North Carolina on December 3rd, 1805 and died in Sullivan County, Missouri on March 4th, 1894. His wife Jane was born about 1807 and was also from North Carolina. His oldest son Eli J was born in Monroe County, Indiana about 1833 so I think James W moved away from Buncombe County in the early 1830's. I am trying to find the names of James W's father and brothers. There is a James Warren listed on the 1790 census for Buncombe County but I do not know if he is related. Any help will be appreciated. BW
