Asheville Boot Makers, Civil War - Span Am War Era

Hi:
Looking for info on either W&C or WF&C Boot/Shoe Manufacturer in Asheville.
They manufactured boots for the Civil War and also for
the Spanish American War.
Would there be any city directories going back that far that might give that information and where would I look?
