I am looking for any Rhodes family member from Buncombe County. My only clue to Rebecca's heritage is the 1860 census in which it is stated that she was born in Buncombe County, NC.
Rebecca married William E. Cole in Union County, GA where they lived for a few years. They later lived in Cherokee County, NC with Rebecca living in McMinn County, TN during the war. (William died 1865.)
If anyone can offer any leads on her, I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!
