I am looking for any information on David Davis born c1780-1790 probably in Burke County. He married Sarah "Sally" Brown in Burke in 1812. He was listed in the 1820 census with his wife and infant daughter in Burke. He moved to Jonathan's Creek in Haywood County about 1827. He lived in Jonathan's Creek until his death c1835-1840.
I have done very little digging among the Burke County Davises. Any information about who David Davis's parents may be would be greatly appreciated! I would be happy to share what I have with anyone interested.
