Browsing through things on Burke Co. I discovered your message.
I'm one of the Collins line who came to Kansas after the Civil War & settled in Davis (later Geary)County.
You probably have all the Collins information from Marjorie Fletcher But what I found most interesting was the information about Theodore Scott. His father was buried in a little country cemetery north of Morganton, tho I have never found it. Also buried there is Charles' father-in-law.
My grandmother had one of those old fashioned plush albums and many pictures that were not labeled, but one was of "Theodore Scott and family" taken by W. S. Partain, Center, I. T. There are 6 children with Laura about 1 year or so.
If these are your family I would be glad to send you the portrait; in exchange for more information about Theodore and descendents.
