On the 1820 census records for Burke County, NC are MANY Gibbs! Archibald Gibbs, Briant Gibbs, Cornelius Gibbs, Hugh Gibbs, William Gibbs, James Gibbs, John Gibbs, and Joshua Gibbs. According to the messageboards some of these men married FINLEYS.. I would like more information on the wives and children of these Gibbs.. Did one of them marry a CANNON? Thanks for any help...
