There were numerous folks from Cabarrus County who moved to Bedford County TN ca. 1800. Take a look at a new page of land records on my site: http://www.angelfire.com/nc/benjthomasofansonnc/southwestword.html

You will see the other end of the power of attorneys that you found in TN. Look at entry #7. Also search the page for Archibald White. And look at the page: http://www.angelfire.com/nc/benjthomasofansonnc/northeastword.html

Also look at the maps linked to the pages to se where the folks actually owned land. And the tax map will let you look at the shape of today's land....
