I do not have a date of this marriage, or what happened to Mr. Pfoertner, as Gladsy married Earl Brooks Bloxom in Virginia later. I think the Pfoertner marriage occurred in N. C. (Cabarrus Co.), but it could have been in VA (Newport News). Thanks for any help on the date or what happened to Mr. Pfoertner - divorce or did he die, leaving Gladys a widow?
