I see by your response that I typed the name incorrectly. It is CALLOWAY not with a G. Sorry. She was the wife of Clarence Calloway of Concord, NC. He died in 1979.
Another sister of Eddie, Mary Ella Hurlocker, married Mr Cook and she died of cancer in Concord, NC, in 1970. Her mother's maiden name was Stallings, and on Mary's death cert, the informant was Mrs Hazel Stallings, 99 Lowe St., Concord.
I also found the obit for Sandy's wife, Mary Jane Hurlocker. It is dated April 9, 1956, and lists the following children:
"Mrs Hurlocker was a native of Cabarrus County, daughter of John and Eva Stallings. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs Harley Cook, Mrs Clarence Calloway, Mrs Charles Dunning of Concord, and Mrs Charlie Pickard of Burlington; four sons John and James Hurlocker of Burlington, Willie Hurlocker of High Point, and Raymond Hurlocker of Cabarrus County; one brother W.S. Stallings of Mt Pleasant; 24 grandchildren. Her husband A.M. Hurlocker died in 1929."
