Thanks for the information. I bought the book you are talking about last summer. I am trying to find a connection between your Helton family and mine. Did your family have any relatives in East Tennessee, particularly Claiborne, Hawkins, or Hancock counties? My gg grandfather, P.A. (Peter Alexander) taught shaped-note singing at a church singing school. He also had hymns published by your great uncle's publishing company. Are you aware of any hymnals that may be for sale?
