I found a death certificate on Ancestry.com for Rachel Matilda Gragg Franklin of Caldwell Co. Rachel is the daughter of James & Nancy Gragg who live in Caldwell Co, NC. James is the son of Rev. War. William Gragg. Nancy is said to be the daughter of a Humphries. What is interesting is the informant for Rachel Matilda Gragg Franklin recorded her mother as Nancy Moore.
Does anyone have any written or document proof of Nancy's parents or maiden name as either Humphreys of Moore?
