One of my cousins found some court records with the Helton's and Our Martins. There were 2 different Martin lines in Burke.Ours the poor laborers not the wealthy ones! LOL!. In your Caldwell heritage book do you have any McMillan/McMillians, Martin, Pearcy/Pearcy, Wright, Hood families listed. Cant retrace our family prior to 1840 census Burke/Caldwell at all. My McMillan's I only have from 1850 on in Caldwell. No record of them in Burke or anywhere else prior to 1850. Hood DNA do not match surname and match no one. All Hood's were DNA tested in Burke and counted for but ours.

Thanks - any help appreciated

J
