Gibbs from NC to SC

I am searching for Gibbs that migrated to SC from NC in the early 1800s. They may have lived in this part of NC for awhile. Also, the Gibbs I am looking for may have traveled with another family. He arrived in SC by 1824, when he purchased a great deal of land, and married. I have not found where other Gibbs were traveling with him.
Any help would be appreciated.
