Richard Berry, (possibly son of the John Berry who married one of the Nelson widows), married Mehitabel Rew in 1810 at Gar Bacon. She was daughter of Southy Rew, former owner of the Nelson plantation at Gar BAcon. Has anyone researched this Berry line? The Berrys may have been originally from Hyde County (probably Juniper Bay or Germantown), as were the Rews, but data on the Berry line is hard to locate. Can anyone help me? A Berry/Rew/Nelson granddaughter, still beating her head against that proverbial brick wall to discover this family link - Florence Fulford Moore.
