Is there a chance that this John Lewis is the same John Lewis listed in the early Currituck records? I also have mention of a John Lewis being the former land owner in a John Casey Will of 1790 in Pasquotank. I have tried to trace the land deeds but have had no luck finding much on John Lewis. John Lewis witnessed a Will in Pasquotank Will abstracts.
I have a Charity Lewis/Luis listed in the estate records of one James Casey in 1777 that I am interested in finding as well.
