Doing some research on my own lines with a potential branch in Caswell Co., NC, I find a distinct link between that location and Halifax Co., VA. I would guess that there were many families from Halifax Co. who migrated to (or moved back and forth between) Caswell County, NC. Names such as Fuller, Majors, Fogleman, Stokes, etc. are often found in both places, such as in land records referencing, for example, that "Drury Majors of Halifax Co., VA, purchases from John Smith, 200 acres on Storeys Creek in Caswell Co., NC." I have seen many, many references like that.
