Perryman and Stokes Families

Because Halifax County, Virginia and Caswell County, North Carolina are in close proximity of each other, I can easily understand how records of my Perryman and Stokes ancestral families could be in both counties.
The marriage of my ancestors, William Perryman (1759-1854) and Ann Stokes (before 1762-after 1829), was recorded in 1782, Caswell County.
The will of my ancestor, Silvanus Stokes (died ca. 1783), was probated in Halifax County. Information regarding my Perryman and Stokes ancestral family members will be greatly appreciated.
