The book "When the Past Refused to Die" references that their were 9 widows and 1 veteran that received pension from the War of 1812. I believe the year was 1883. One of these widows was my gg grandmother, Bathsheba Ferguson. Is there any more information in this book that might be helpful in my research? Margie Notify Administrator about this message?
