Looking at that page...which follows two pages of rosters of Caswell Co., Fifth Regiment....(although says not inclusive)...it just is basically the information you had in your post "federal pension rolls...widows were Bathshea Ferguson...".... Also in the index...a reference for a Kate Ferguson....attending Milton Female Academy and a Richard Ferguson who lived in Yanceyville in 1850 (on census it says) and was a coach maker..and is also mentioned on another page in the book as being a Mason.
