Our family was out of Mouse Creek and had several mentions of Monroe and McMinn county TN. They originally came out of Burke and Cherokee NC. I have noticed some Browns out of the Rowan Co area but have not had time to chase it. I had hoped that you might recognize Ransom Hilton's name. I know of two of Daniel Smith Hilton's boys that were in the area of Monroe CO. and His father was in McMinn on the 1830 census and filed for a Revoultionary pension in 1837. Jason Albert Hilton married a Mary Wilson. Daniel Hilton jr. married Jane Shell. I think they were out of the Monroe area and Jason Shoat was there at one time too. Many of them moved to Roane CO. TN. These are some of the intermarried families. The Mabe's in NC too. Just found about 40 Guion Miller apps from the Mabe family back through Lucinda Hilton. Blessings Mike
