I have been researching a Haney-Solsbee family connection and I ran across your post in Genforum#3438 dated Sept. 2008. In the 1900 Murphy Twp. Cherokee Co., N.C. census it list James W. Haney b. Jan. 1864 N.C., his wife Jane b. Feb. 1870 Ga.. It list the rest of his family and a step-son Isaac Soesby age 12. It appears by this that “Jane” Haney was married to a Solsbee-Soesby before marrying James Haney.
In your research have you run across this “Jane”? I believe this Isaac Soesby is Isaac William Solsbee. Isaac William Solsbee was married to a Polly Wilson
In 1910 Isaac Salsbee and family was in Union Co., Ga. In 1920 Isaac Somsby and family was in McMinn Co., Tn.

Thanks for any help
